IMPORTANT: Update on Maryland Courts
Updated: May 6, 2020
Effective March 25, 2020, the Maryland Court of Appeals, Court of Special Appeals, Circuit Courts, District Courts and Orphans Courts are closed to the public until June 5, 2020. Courts will continue to address emergency matters and will be staffed on a reduced basis during this period.
Also, all offices of the Maryland Office of Administrative Hearings (OAH) are closed to the public until further notice. Beginning March 23, 2020 through April 3, 2020 all proceedings with the OAH are temporarily suspended. For further updates, visit http://www.oah.state.md.us/
At O’Byrne Law, we will continue to move forward with all court filings for our clients during this period, but we are not able to predict the timeframe in which these pleadings will be addressed by the courts given the long closure and the subsequent backlog that will accumulate. We will update this information as this situation develops.
